The location was marvellous and awesome for us!

The room with a double bed.

It's reasonably clean designer hotel with best and competent staff and a convenient location. The breakfast is excellent, includes a wide array of meals. Very good service and the food is local. Pool area is nice, greatly enjoyed this place.

The atmosphere of the hotel is contemporary!

The fact that Entenca tube station was some 15 minutes away was a plus. The double room I got was included with terrace, sofa, as example.

I recently spent five nights at Hotel Derby and really enjoyed the location. It's close to restaurants and has easy access to public transport. The room was clean and comfy, with a nice outdoor terrace that was perfect for unwinding after a day out. The acoustics in the room were terrible. I could hear every little noise from the hallway and adjoining rooms. It made it hard to relax at times. The reception staff were friendly, but I did feel like they were a bit overwhelmed and sometimes missed addressing our requests timely. The breakfast selection was average and could use some variety too.

Hotel staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful in booking restaurants for us on a number of occasions. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and comfortable.

We did have one small issue with noise - the lack of carpets meant that when people were walking in the room above - or moving the desk chair around - the sound carried quite readily - this was an issue on the last night when the people above were still up and moving about at 3.30am.

Everthig is excellent

Solid location close to key transport routes. The rooms provide decent space and cleanliness, meeting the basic requirements for comfort during a stay.

The decor feels dated, furniture needs some serious updating, and there's a noticeable absence of amenities-no tea/coffee machines or bathrobes in the rooms. Soundproofing isn't effective, awesome for disruptive noise from adjacent rooms and the outside. Breakfast options left a bit to be desired. A salad bar would've been a nice touch. To top it off, the pool isn't on-site but situated across the street, which complicates things.

A clean and comfortable room; a quite street, there is a good sumermarket near the hotel, and a range of caffes/bars.

Overpriced breackfast. Early cleaning. Unstable wi-fi connection. Hotel's location - it is pretty far from city center, however an undeground station is not so far and the railway station Barcelona Sants is 15 min working.

Initially we were given a very small room, but when we asked we got a bigger one, which corresponds to what was advertised on the internet. At the end our room was comfortable, and quiet and clean. The hotel is close to main bus stops and the big avenues, and yet in quiet side street.

Staff at the reception not particularly helpful. When we asked for direction for going around in the city on our first day we got only very limited and basic informations. The parking which is intended to be used by the guest of the hotel is not dedicated and it it mostly used by local people. The cars are parked in rows in 2 or 3 and therefore you have to leave the key to the staff, so they move the cars around all the time. Even the staff at the parking speak no foreign language, so I didn't use it.

The room was clean and spacious, but the walls were too thin.

Very bad noise isolation we could hear next room pretty clear, especially in the bathroom through ventilation system. Luckly hotel is in a relatively quiet street. There is no internet.

Clean, spacious room, nice spacious bathroom ,polite staff,breakfast a bit pricy, but there is a great coffee shop just next door.location is good,buses to the city center or taxi ride only for 5 euros, very close to the tram station.

Out of 10 tv channels only 2 were in english BBC News and CNN News no entertainment channels in english.

The room was clean and comfy, great location close to shops and transport. Had a lovely outdoor terrace too!

No russian channel on TV; only one computer is in hotel's hall- often was busy
